We are seeking a motivated Personal Injury Associate Attorney to join our team. This role is ideal for a newly licensed attorney or recent graduate who is eager to gain hands-on experience in plaintiff-side personal injury law, including case handling from intake through resolution.
Responsibilities
- Handle personal injury cases from intake through settlement or litigation
- Communicate with clients regarding case status and treatment
- Draft demand packages and settlement negotiations
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery (if litigation)
- Work with medical providers, liens, and insurance carriers
- Prepare cases for mediation, arbitration, or trial as needed
- Maintain organized case files and meet deadlines
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Active California State Bar license in good standing
- Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Professionalism and willingness to learn plaintiff personal injury practice
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)
- Prior experience in personal injury or civil litigation
- Internship or clerkship experience in a law firm
- Familiarity with demand writing, negotiations, or case management software
- Spanish bilingual abilities (a plus but not required)
- Strong interest in plaintiff-side advocacy
