We are seeking an energetic and attentive Server to join our dynamic food service team. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, provide menu recommendations, and assist with special requests to enhance their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards and proper food handling procedures
- Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales opportunities while providing genuine guest engagement
- Manage table settings, bussing, and sanitation duties efficiently to uphold cleanliness standards in accordance with food safety regulations
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities using POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours, including night shifts and weekend events
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Server in food industry settings such as restaurants, fine dining establishments, or nightclubs is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms; experience with OpenTable is a plus
- Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle guest inquiries professionally
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and order calculations
- Previous experience in food preparation, bussing, or host/hostess roles is advantageous
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed in a hospitality or nightclub setting
