TITLE: Industrial Electrical Estimator / Project Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION:
· We are looking for an experienced Industrial Electrical Estimator / Project Manager who can step in immediately and run municipality and industrial projects with little to no supervision.
· This is not a training position.
· We are looking for someone who already understands industrial electrical work, knows how projects are built, knows how they should be priced, and knows how to keep them profitable from estimate through closeout.
· If you're the type of professional who sees problems before they become expensive, understands where margins are won and lost, and can manage industrial projects without handholding, we want to talk to you.

What You'll Be Responsible For:
· Build accurate and complete industrial electrical estimates using Accubid or similar estimating software.
· Perform detailed material take-offs and labor analysis.
· Understand how projects will be built in the field, not just how they appear on drawings.
· Manage projects from award through commissioning.
· Track job costs on a weekly basis and actively protect project margins.
· Identify cost overruns early and take corrective action.
· Manage shutdowns and critical-path industrial schedules.
· Handle RFIs, submittals, change orders, and billing while maintaining profitability.
· Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field crews.
· Report directly to company leadership regarding project health, profitability, and cost performance.
Required Experience:
· Proven industrial electrical estimating experience.
· Proven experience successfully managing industrial electrical projects.
· Strong understanding of job costing and project profitability.
· Hands-on experience with motor controls, VFDs, switchgear, power distribution systems, and industrial controls or PLC environments.
· Ability to read drawings and understand real-world installation requirements.
· Experience working in manufacturing facilities, energy facilities, water and wastewater facilities, or similar heavy industrial environments.
· Experience managing subcontractors in both union and non-union environments.
· Proficiency with Accubid, Excel, Bluebeam, and project scheduling software.
· Experience with AIA billing and disciplined change order management.

· Can confidently sit across the table from a plant manager, owner, engineer, or general contractor and lead the conversation.
