Responsibilities
- Install and wire gps devices, dashcams, and multi cam systems in vehicles
- Install, troubleshoot, and calibrate telematics devices across a variety of vehicles and fleets
- Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to ensure accurate system integration
- Utilize diagnostic tools and electronic testing equipment to verify proper device operation
- Travel to job sites across multiple states, sometimes for extended assignments
- Communicate installation status and any issues clearly with the project lead/office
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment on-site
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in automotive electrical, mobile electronics, or 12V wiring (telematics/fleet install experience a plus)
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics
- Comfortable using multimeters and basic diagnostic/testing equipment
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability/willingness to travel frequently (multi-state, including extended trips)
- Own basic hand tools; company provides specialized install equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be able to operate as an independent contractor (1099) — own your schedule, invoice for completed work

Pay: $350.00 - $450.00 per day
