Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Caregivers to join our healthcare team, providing essential support to individuals in various care settings.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care by assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates accurately
- Support patients with medication administration following prescribed protocols and maintaining proper medical documentation
- Assist with specialized care needs such as Alzheimer's care, dementia care, hospice support, catheter care, and memory care
- Operate Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to document patient information securely and efficiently
- Use assistive devices like Hoyer lifts safely during patient transfers and mobility assistance
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and meal preparation
- Observe and report any changes in patient condition or behavior promptly to healthcare professionals
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality at all times
Skills
- Proven experience in senior care, home health, assisted living, or long-term care environments
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures related to patient observation and care
- Familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems and medical documentation standards
- Ability to assist with complex medical needs including hospice care, dementia management, and working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges
- CPR certification and knowledge of emergency response protocols
- Competence in caring for patients requiring specialized interventions such as catheter management or medication administration
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while maintaining a team-oriented approach in diverse settings
