We are seeking an experienced,, passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and pastry items. Your expertise in coffee and food handling will enhance the customer experience, ensuring that every guest leaves satisfied.

shift time: 7:30am-3:30pm or 3-7:30pm
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and pastry items according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including equipment and utensils.
- Operate the POS system efficiently to process customer transactions accurately.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
Skills
experienced barista with knowledge of handling La Marzocco’sespresso machine preferred; knowledgeable with coffee beans and origins.
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and food safety regulations.
- Proficient in retail math for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash registers for efficient transaction processing.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurement of ingredients and handling cash transactions.
- Previous experience as barista is required.

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
