We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team in a vibrant café environment.
Our North Phoenix is the first ever Specialty Coffee Drive Thru location in Arizona!
As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Your role will be pivotal in creating memorable experiences that keep our customers coming back.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Engage with customers to take orders, provide recommendations, and ensure satisfaction with their selections.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system, including preparing online orders.
- This location is our first, and only Drive Thru Cafe, maintaining efficient service while monitoring two points of entry for guests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment and workstations.
- Monitor inventory levels of food and beverage supplies, assisting with ordering as needed.
- Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment while meeting daily operational goals.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests.
- Experience in cash handling and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
- Knowledge of the food industry, particularly in a café setting, is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Aloha POS, is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for success in this role.
- Previous experience in food handling or barista roles is advantageous but not required; training will be provided.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.65 - $17.78 per hour
