Vendor Operations Lead
The Vendor Operations Lead is responsible for supporting the onboarding, maintenance, and monitoring of vendors across services such as business development, insurance, UCC filings, Know-Your-Customer (KYC), and warranty support. This role operates independently, ensuring contract and documentation accuracy, vendor compliance, and process efficiency while partnering cross-functionally.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Partners with Originations and internal teams to onboard and manage vendors.
- Performs monthly quality assurance and compliance audits. Provides operational support across platform during periods of low demand.
- Drafts and reviews vendor agreements and amendments in accordance with company policy.
- Develops and maintains standard templates, playbooks, and procedural documentation. Maintains document library and ensures proper document control and versioning.
- Monitors vendor performance and ensures compliance with operational and contractual requirements.
- Collaborates with IT to enhance dashboards and streamline onboarding processes.
- Conducts UCC lien reviews and resolves inventory perfection issues with Operations.
- Supports cost-per-copy setup and ensures adherence to deadlines and vendor expectations.
- Files insurance claims and manages vendor relationships related to insurance services.
Educational Requirements
- University (Degree) Preferred
Work Experience
- 3+ Years Required; 5+ Years Preferred
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a paralegal doing transactional work in a law firm or leasing or commercial lending business.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a paralegal doing transactional work in a law firm or leasing or commercial lending business.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; work history in related field required.
- Bachelor's degree in business, Finance or related field and/or Paralegal Certificate, highly preferred.
