Job Title: Server/Bartender
Overview:
We are seeking skilled, friendly and guest-oriented Servers / Bartenders to join our team here at Old Line Kitchen and Wine Bar!
We are looking for professional, passionate, and experienced individuals who are able to handle the expectations of a new, upscale restaurant..
We are looking for staff who are able to bartend and server, who have a more than serviceable knowledge base with wine, cocktails, food and service. We have 15+ wines on tap, plus a full bottle and BTG list.
We are open for lunch and dinner Monday through Friday, and Dinner only on Saturday, and closed on Sunday - with the exception of some private events that may happen on Saturday or Sunday daytime.
We have high standards, but in return we have your back and take care of our team. We opened in October 2024, and are looking to add to our amazing team.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, and wines
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take customer orders and process payments using POS systems
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and adhere to food safety standards
- Upsell drinks and promote specials to increase sales
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely service for customers
- Assist with any other task as needed
Skills:
- Strong bartending skills / Strong serving skills
- Proficiency with Toast POS or similar systems
- Excellent sales abilities
- Knowledge of restaurant procedures
- Experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry
- Cash handling expertise
- Commitment to food safety guidelines
