What You’ll Be Doing

Install & Troubleshoot Cabling: Install, maintain, and troubleshoot low-voltage cabling systems (coax, fiber, Cat 5/6, etc.) in commercial and residential environments.

Support Lead Technicians: Provide hands-on assistance to Lead Technicians during projects, ensuring work meets high quality and safety standards.

Use of Tools & Testers: Demonstrate proficiency with basic hand/power tools, including the use of a coax tester for verifying and troubleshooting cable connections.

Project Collaboration: Work professionally at various job sites—hospitals, schools, office buildings, multi-family homes, and more—maintaining a safe and clean workspace.

Documentation: Accurately document installation processes, maintenance activities, and service requests.

Customer Confidence: Maintain customer satisfaction by performing outstanding work, keeping a clean work area, and following all safety protocols.
What You’ll Bring

Experience/Education: Some demonstrated technical experience (or a combination of relevant education and experience), ideally in DAS, fire alarm, or networking.

Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with BDA/DAS systems, FACP, or the willingness to learn new technologies, design plans, and bills of material.

Problem-Solving & Diagrams: Ability to read and understand technical drawings/schematics and solve problems under pressure.

Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients, colleagues, and supervisors.

Your Environment & Physical Requirements
You will work in both indoor and outdoor environments, which may involve heat/cold, wet/humid, or dry/arid conditions. Specific physical demands include:

Frequent standing, walking, sitting, and reaching with hands and arms.

Use of hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; climbing stairs; talking or hearing.

Operation of basic hand/power tools and wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed.

Lifting and carrying equipment up to 50 pounds.

Frequent ladder work and operating a motor vehicle.
