Duties include:
- Evaluate and treat patients
- Develop and implement individualized treatment programs to help patients improve their daily lining skills and achieve their goals
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve patients' motor skill, coordination and independence
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to insure comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients, their families and caregivers on strategies for managing their conditions and maximizing their functional abilities
- Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes accurately and timely
Requirements:
- Bachelor's, master's or doctorate degree in physical therapy from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure to practice in the state of Michigan
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.
- Ability to provide compassionate patient care while maintaining professional boundaries
