Aseptic Production Technician in Indianapolis, IN -- Weekend Shift!
Contract Details
- Pay Rate: $32.00–$33.00 per hour
- Training Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Regular Schedule: Friday, Saturday & Sunday | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Interview Format: Virtual interviews (Tuesday–Thursday between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM)
- Onsite contract opportunity with potential for extension based on business needs.
Role Overview
BEPC Inc. is seeking an experienced Aseptic Production Technician to support pharmaceutical manufacturing operations for our client. This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on aseptic manufacturing experience in the pharmaceutical industry who are comfortable working independently in a highly regulated GMP environment.
The selected candidate will receive initial training on the day shift before transitioning to a weekend schedule. This position requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to lead manufacturing activities while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform manufacturing activities in pharmaceutical cleanroom and aseptic environments.
- Operate and support equipment preparation, stopper preparation, inspection processes (manual and semi-automated), packaging operations, autoclaves, and classified area sanitization.
- Successfully complete training and maintain certification for entry into the Aseptic Core.
- Independently execute manufacturing processes while adhering to GMP and aseptic procedures.
- Monitor production activities and make informed decisions during processing to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Provide guidance and oversight to other manufacturing team members and assume responsibility for process outcomes.
- Maintain accurate production documentation and comply with all company quality and safety standards.
Qualifications
Required
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of pharmaceutical manufacturing experience (required).
- Hands-on aseptic manufacturing experience in the pharmaceutical industry (required).
- Experience working in cleanroom/GMP manufacturing environments.
- Ability to work independently following training.
- Strong decision-making and leadership skills in a manufacturing setting.
- Willingness to become certified for entry into the Aseptic Core after hire.
Important Requirements
- Aseptic experience must be from the pharmaceutical industry.
- Aseptic experience from the food industry will not be considered.
