Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their food and beverage needs, ensuring a positive experience.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS accurately for sales, refunds, and order processing.
- Prepare food items following established recipes and safety guidelines, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and cash handling procedures with accuracy and integrity.
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to maximize sales opportunities while providing excellent customer service.
- Maintain food safety protocols including proper food handling, sanitation, and bussing to ensure a clean environment.
- Support kitchen operations by assisting with food preparation, stocking supplies, and managing time efficiently during busy periods.
Experience
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Proven skills in food preparation, cashiering, and customer service within the food industry or retail settings.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
- Experience with food handling, sanitation practices, and adhering to safety standards is essential.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Background in culinary arts or café operations enhances ability to support kitchen activities effectively.
- Retail math proficiency including basic math skills for cash handling and sales transactions is required.
