Prefer a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology, Criminal Justice, Social Work, Psychology, or other directly related Human Service field. Will accept applicants possessing a high school diploma and two years social work experience. Documented work experience in the Social Services field with thorough knowledge of how to access community resources and implement independent living skills preferred. Must be at least 21 years old, have a valid driver’s license, and be insurable.
Applicants must be willing to participate as a member of a team, hold youth accountable for behaviors, possess skills in re-direction and crisis intervention, follow specific rules/guidelines, and build effective rapport with community resources. Applicants must be able to role model appropriate behavior and socially accepted interaction 100% of the time. Applicants must be able to mentor, and develop appropriate and effective rapport with the youth in care, in addition to their family as applicable. EOE
