Tanning Consultant Job Description
Job Overview
Once established. We're looking to fill two to three shifts per week from the two shifts a day schedule where first shift is 9 to 2:00 PM and second shift is 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Although negotiable two of the three shift would likely come from Monday and Tuesday second shift and Saturday 10 to 3.
As a Tanning Consultant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service while promoting our tanning services and products. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for clients, educating them about tanning options, and ensuring their overall satisfaction. Your expertise in sales and customer engagement will help drive business growth and enhance the client experience.
Duties
- Greet clients warmly and provide personalized consultations to understand their tanning needs.
- Educate clients on various tanning options, including UV and spray tanning services.
- Promote and upsell tanning products and packages to maximize sales opportunities.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tanning equipment and salon areas to ensure a safe environment for clients.
- Process transactions accurately, including cash handling and managing client accounts.
- Address client inquiries and concerns promptly, providing solutions to enhance their experience.
- Stay updated on industry trends, products, and techniques to offer informed recommendations.
Skills
- Strong sales skills with a proven ability to upsell products and services effectively.
- Knowledge of cosmetology principles is a plus, enhancing your ability to advise clients on skincare.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor that fosters client loyalty.
- Proficiency in cash handling procedures to ensure accurate financial transactions.
- Attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards within the salon environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members while also being self-motivated.
