Virtual Mental Health Therapist (RP/RSW)

Sunshine Therapy Inc. is seeking compassionate and motivated therapists to join our growing virtual practice. We are looking for professionals who are committed to delivering high-quality, client-centered care while maintaining strong clinical, ethical, and documentation standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide virtual psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families across Canada (where permitted by your regulatory college).
- Conduct intake assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing client evaluations.
- Complete risk assessments, crisis intervention, and safety planning when required.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and professional clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and community resources to support client care.
- Participate in monthly team meetings, professional readings, case consultations, and clinical discussions to promote continuous learning and clinical excellence.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Counselling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- Licensed and in good standing with the applicable regulatory college in Canada (RP, RSW, or equivalent), or eligible for registration/qualifying status and actively pursuing full licensure.
- Active professional liability insurance (required).
- Strong assessment, communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Experience working with anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, relationship concerns, and life transitions is an asset.
- Commitment to culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and inclusive care.
- Ability to work independently in a virtual environment while contributing to a collaborative team culture.
