Overview
We are seeking a team of cleaners to care for a government facility (Northern Resource Center) in Lakewood, NJ. Work is 2nd shift, five hours per day
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of floors, windows, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and techniques.
- Conduct specialized floor care tasks such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to maintain a professional appearance.
- Handle custodial responsibilities including trash removal, restocking supplies, and sanitizing surfaces to promote health and safety.
- Follow safety protocols diligently while using cleaning chemicals and equipment to prevent accidents or hazards.
- Collaborate with team members to complete daily cleaning schedules efficiently and uphold the highest standards of cleanliness.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services within commercial or residential settings.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing is preferred
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning procedures and facilities maintenance practices.
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as floor buffers and extractors safely and effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting heavy objects, and performing repetitive tasks throughout shifts.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting maintenance issues promptly.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
