Event Bartender
Pay: $20/hour + Tips (1099 Independent Contractor)
Hours: You can sign up for the events and shifts that work for you. Must be able to work evenings and weekends.

About the Role
This is not your typical bartending job.
Our bartenders do much more than serve drinks. They help set the tone for the event, create memorable guest experiences, maintain a clean and organized bar, and work alongside our coordinators and event staff to ensure every celebration runs seamlessly.
What You’ll Do
Before Guests Arrive
- Meet with the Day of Coordinator to review event details
- Set up and stock the bar
- Prepare garnishes and bar supplies
- Fill water, tea, and lemonade dispensers
- Ensure the bar is clean, organized, and guest-ready
During the Event
- Provide friendly, professional beverage service
- Prepare cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages
- Engage with guests while maintaining efficient service
- Follow all bar service guidelines and event-specific instructions
- Monitor inventory and communicate restocking needs
- Keep the bar clean, stocked, and organized throughout the event
After the Event
- Break down and clean the bar
- Restock inventory
- Label and date opened products
- Complete the closing checklist
- Help clean, tear down, and reset the venue for the next event

Expectations
Every bartender at The Martin is expected to:
- Have previous bartending experience, specifically making cocktails
- Deliver exceptional hospitality to every guest
- Represent The Martin with professionalism and positivity
- Stay visible and engaged throughout the event
- Take initiative rather than waiting to be asked
- Communicate with the Day of Coordinator throughout the shift
- Follow all alcohol service policies and procedures
- Assist with venue cleanup and teardown once bar duties are complete
Dress Code
- Black shirt
- Black pants or appropriate black shorts
- Comfortable closed-toe shoes
- Clean, professional appearance
Pay: $20.00 per hour
