We are seeking a Maintenance Technician with strong aptitude for our growing Manufacturing Facility. Looking for an individual who can troubleshoot, has mechanical skills, and is proactive to ensure the smooth operation of manufacturing equipment? This Maintenance Technician position is for you!
Monday – Thursday: 5:00 am - 3:00 pm
BUILDING MAINTENANCE:
- Maintain preventative and periodic maintenance schedules for machines/systems/lighting.
- Heating and cooling systems: furnace filter changes, etc.
- Plumbing systems; water lines, air lines, vacuum lines, water heaters, softeners, drains, gas piping
- Electrical systems & emergency lighting/exit signs: change light bulbs, ballasts, batteries regularly
- Monitor and maintain all factory equipment: i.e. ovens, heaters, air compressors, vacuum pumps, AC units, forming machines, masking machines, routers, etc.
- Perform various painting: walls, steps, railings, machines, dock plates, doors, trailers, forklifts, etc.
- Assist with shelving set-up/tear down and reconfiguring
- Support production & R&D projects
- See that maintenance on all vehicles is up to date and vehicles are kept clean at all times.
- Assist with maintaining snow plowing/shoveling of paved areas.
MECHANICAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Conduct preventive maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical failures on production machinery.
- Perform adjustments and alignments to ensure optimal performance of mechanical components.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify and address mechanical issues.
- Operate and maintain specialized mechanical tools and equipment.
