Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold cleanliness standards
- Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items efficiently
- Maintain floor care by performing carpet cleaning, polishing hard floors, and applying appropriate maintenance techniques to preserve flooring quality
- Ensure all sanitation procedures are followed meticulously to promote a healthy environment for clients and staff
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs politely and professionally while delivering cleaning services
- Assist with janitorial responsibilities including waste disposal, restocking supplies, and maintaining cleaning equipment in optimal condition
- Support housekeeping management in coordinating schedules and ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed promptly and thoroughly
Experience
- Prior custodial or janitorial experience in residential or commercial settings preferred
- Experience with hotel housekeeping or hospitality industry is a plus
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning, floor care, and sanitation practices required
- Familiarity with laundry operations and handling various cleaning supplies and equipment necessary
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service with a positive attitude
- Experience managing multiple cleaning tasks efficiently in fast-paced environments is advantageous
