Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Server to join our dynamic team in a casual dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for quality food, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring every guest has a memorable dining experience.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean and organized restaurant and server area, including the floors, and storage areas
- Manage cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently using a point-of-sale (POS) system
- Maintain a high level of knowledge of our menu and ingredients to answer questions and make suggestions
- Upsell and promote special drinks and promotions
- Handle customer complaints and provide excellent customer service
- Collaborate with fellow servers to ensure prompt and efficient service
- Perform basic math calculations to manage cash and credit transactions
- Meet sales goals by effectively promoting our menu offerings
- Maintain a positive and friendly attitude, contributing to a positive work environment
- Experience in food service, preferably in a fast paced dining environment
- Proficiency with a point-of-sale (POS) system and cash register
- Knowledge of the menu and ingredients
- Experience with retail math and basic math calculations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong sales skills and a passion for promoting our menu offerings
- Ability to maintain a high level of energy and focus during busy period.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $2.13 - $14.00 per hour
