In this role, you will deliver exceptional customer service while preparing and serving a variety of beverages and food items. Duties
- Greet customers warmly, offer a sample of our amazing bread and provide friendly, efficient service throughout their visit
- Prepare non-alcoholic beverages such as coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks with precision and care
- Encourage customers to be rewards members and assist in downloading app if needed. Operate POS systems to process sales accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change while maintaining accuracy in cash handling
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food prep stations, seating areas, and equipment to meet food safety standards
- Assist with food handling and preparation to ensure quality and safety standards are upheld
- Restock supplies as needed, manage inventory levels, and ensure all products are fresh and properly stored
- Support team members during busy periods by assisting with serving, beverage service, and food prep tasks
- Follow proper food safety protocols and hygiene practices at all times to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or café environments is preferred; barista experience is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for sales processing
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and transaction accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
- Experience with beverage preparation, coffee making, or drink service is highly desirable

Pay: $16.90 - $17.00 per hour
