Job Summary:
The Radiologic Technologist position is based in Boston. This role involves performing X-ray exams as ordered by healthcare providers in an urgent care setting, assisting with clinical and front office activities, and ensuring smooth workflow within a high-volume medical environment. The position requires a professional who can provide exceptional patient care and operate radiology equipment efficiently.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift with 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Associate's degree from an accredited college, current state licensure as a radiologic technologist, CPR/BLS certification, ARRT license, a minimum of 2 years of experience in a high-volume urgent care center or emergency room preferred, and proficiency in electronic medical records and Microsoft Office suite.
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience with EPIC and strong customer service skills.
- Additional Information: The role involves preparing the radiology suite, capturing images, following standard protocols for patient preparation, and assisting with minor surgical procedures under provider supervision. The position requires reliable transportation for travel between various urgent care locations.
