OpSource has partnered with a Packaging company located in Spartanburg, SC.

Shifts for the position:
- Will train on 1st shift - 7am-3pm
Job requirements for the position may include:
- Loading & Unloading: Safely transfer cargo and inventory on and off tractor-trailers, and shipping containers.
- Transport & Stacking: Move heavy pallets, crates, and raw materials from receiving docks to designated storage areas or production lines.
- Order Picking: Retrieve specific products, stack them carefully, and transport them to the staging area for shipment.
- Tracking and Scanning: Use RF scanning equipment or barcode readers to accurately log material movements, ensuring inventory integrity.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect goods for damage or missing items, and report any discrepancies, overages, or shortages to management.
- Stock Rotation: Practice standard inventory rotation, such as first-in, first-out (FIFO), to ship older stock first.
- Equipment Care: Perform preventative maintenance and cleaning on the forklift.
- Housekeeping: Keep aisles, dock areas, and the forklift clear of debris, wrap pallets, and organize empty containers.
Qualifications for the position:
- Certification: Valid forklift certification or the ability to pass facility-specific certification and testing.
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of proven material handling experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for long shifts, and bend/reach safely.
- Math & Tech Skills: Basic math skills, hand-eye coordination, and familiarity with RF scanners and inventory logs.
