We're seeking a passionate and dedicated MRI Technologist to join our team at our Annapolis location. This pivotal role involves various responsibilities, which includes performing MRI scans, ensuring precise imaging, patient safety, and adherence to protocols, while collaborating with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality diagnostic results. The schedule for this position would be 4-10s . All staff may be asked to travel to other locations within the region to provide support for call-outs or to cover PTO as needed. This flexibility helps ensure smooth operations across all locations and fosters a collaborative team environment.

Certification in MRI (ARRT) (RT) (MR) required. MD state license.
SCHEDULE: 4-10s (40 hours)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Promptly completes patient exams, questionnaires, and testing in order to ensure smooth daily operations and coordination of care

Deliveries direct patient care to patients including scans and venipuncture as assigned with tact, discretion and professionalism

Preps room to ensure that equipment is operable and that those supplies are ready

Checks referral for appropriate study and contacts referring the physician to clarify if needed

Follows CMI MRI protocols on conducting a scan and consults Radiologist when necessary

Demonstrated ability to use selected equipment, technique and patient positioning including TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, acquisitions, the field of view and other adjustments and factors on the equipment in order to produce high-quality image

Maintains patient confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA law

Complies with all applicable ethical, legal and procedural rules and regulations

Follows safety guidelines and protocols including minimizing exposure to ionizing radiation for patients and staff, disposing of infectious materials into biohazard containers and ensuring the cleanliness of rooms and equipment daily

Communicates efficiently, effectively and respectfully with medical staff, patients and patient families

Uses screening procedures, including medical history review, obtains blood work when needed using on-site equipment

Checks ICD and CPT codes and following up regarding referrals and charges accordingly

Verifies equipment function with daily QA, monitoring quality control measures and protocols and advanced troubleshooting when needed

Performs other duties as assigned
