Join our team as a Shipping & Warehouse Associate where you'll play a vital role in ensuring smooth warehouse operations and efficient assembly processes. This energetic position offers an exciting opportunity to work with heavy equipment, manage inventory, and contribute to the seamless distribution of quality products. Responsibilities include order processing, shipping, storing materials, picking, packing, warehouse cleaning, and truck loading/unloading. We are a small family owned business where each team member plays several roles in our business operation.
Duties
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Assist in order processing to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Conduct stock replenishment and stocking activities to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Handle materials with care during manufacturing, assembly, and distribution processes, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Maintain safety standards by adhering to OSHA regulations and mechanical knowledge requirements during heavy lifting and equipment operation.
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
- Ability to process shipping labels for various carriers (UPS, Fedex, USPS)
- Knowledge of inventory management, stock control, shipping & receiving procedures, and material handling techniques.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during order picking and packing tasks.
- Mechanical aptitude with understanding of warehouse safety protocols including OSHA guidelines.
Pay: Up to $18.00 per hour
