Assembly Technician — Part-Time, 2 Months, $24-26/hr

SWERV makes a novel window-mounted ventilator that brings fresh air into homes without throwing away the heat. We're a small hardware team, and we're ramping production now in Somerville, MA.
You'd be building units next to our engineers: hand tools, jigs, mechanical and electrical assembly, following work instructions and speaking up when something looks off. 6 to 8 hours a day, weekdays, flexible on exact hours. Two months, possibly longer.
You'd be a fit if you've built things with your hands, whether that's a production floor, a prototype shop, a voc-tech program, or your own garage. Steady hands, attention to detail, and picking things up fast matter more here than a resume. Soldering, wire harnesses, torque tools, or calipers are a plus.
How it works: short phone call, then a paid 3-hour build session in our mini factory. You see the work, we see how you build. Paid at full rate either way.
