Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Develop and suggest beverage recipes, including craft cocktails and specialty drinks, to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to promote sales and create a lively atmosphere.
- Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and monitor alcohol consumption to ensure responsible service.
- Handle cash handling procedures accurately while processing payments and providing receipts.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during food service operations to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Assist in bar management tasks such as scheduling, training new team members, and maintaining compliance with hospitality regulations.
Experience
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining or upscale hospitality environments preferred.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS.
- Demonstrated expertise in mixology, beverage recipe development, wine knowledge, and spirits handling.
- Experience with food service operations, banquet service, catering events, or retail math is advantageous.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests energetically and professionally.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures required.
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous experience working with beverage crafting tools such as shakers, muddlers, strainers, and glassware preferred.
