Concrete Finisher – Full-Time
Location: Lincoln, NE
We are currently seeking an experienced and dependable Concrete Finisher to join our growing construction team in Lincoln, Nebraska. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in high-quality workmanship, has strong attention to detail, and thrives in a team-oriented environment. Work includes a mix of commercial, residential, and roadway projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set forms, pour, and finish concrete for flatwork, sidewalks, driveways, curbs, gutters, and roadway projects
- Perform road work including paving support, curb and gutter finishing, and patching/repair
- Smooth and finish surfaces using hand and power tools
- Ensure proper curing of concrete to achieve durability and strength
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
- Maintain a clean and safe job site
- Work collaboratively with crew members and supervisors to meet project deadlines
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a concrete finisher required (road work experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of concrete placement, finishing techniques, and materials
- Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
