Duties
- Prepare fresh sandwiches and food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Operate POS systems to process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, answering questions about menu options, and upselling additional items to enhance their experience.
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and manage cash handling responsibilities with precision and integrity.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the food preparation area, dining space, and front counter in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Assist with food safety management practices including proper food handling, sanitation, and serving procedures.
- Support team members by bussing tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring the overall cleanliness of the restaurant environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred; familiarity with food preparation and food industry standards is a plus.
- Proven skills in cashiering, retail sales transactions, or grocery store experience demonstrate strong math abilities and attention to detail.
- Experience in food handling, sanitation practices, or restaurant operations supports a smooth transition into this role.
- Excellent time management skills are essential for balancing multiple tasks during busy hours while maintaining high-quality service.
