Job Title: Used Car Salesperson

Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Salesperson to join our used car dealership. The ideal candidate is passionate about cars, has excellent communication skills, and thrives in a sales-driven environment. You will be responsible for assisting customers in finding the right vehicle, explaining financing options, and ensuring a smooth purchasing experience.
Key Responsibilities:Customer Engagement & Sales:
- Greet customers and assess their vehicle needs and budget.
- Guide customers through available inventory and provide detailed information about each vehicle’s features, history, and condition.
- Conduct test drives and demonstrate vehicle performance.
- Negotiate pricing and financing terms to close deals successfully.
- Follow up with potential buyers via phone, text, or email to encourage sales.
Vehicle Knowledge & Inventory Management:
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the dealership’s inventory, pricing, and promotions.
- Educate customers on vehicle features, specifications, warranties, and additional services.
- Keep the lot organized and vehicles presentable for customer viewing.
Financing & Paperwork Assistance:
- Assist customers with financing options and explain loan terms.
- Work with lenders and finance managers to process credit applications.
- Ensure all required documents are completed correctly for a smooth sales transaction.
Customer Service & Retention:
- Provide excellent customer service before, during, and after the sale.
- Address customer concerns and handle objections professionally.
- Encourage referrals and repeat business by building strong customer relationships.
Team Collaboration & Compliance:
- Work closely with the sales team, finance department, and management to meet dealership goals.
- Stay informed about local and state automotive regulations.
- Adhere to dealership policies and ethical sales practices.
Requirements:
- Previous sales experience in the automotive industry (preferred but not required).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.
- Basic knowledge of financing and automotive terms.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Extra base salary available for candidates who speak, read, and write in Spanish.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.
