Job Summary
Premier Personal Injury firm in Boca Raton is looking for an innovative and strategic Human Resources Manager who can foster a thriving organizational culture into the next phase of growth. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all facets of human resources management, including talent acquisition, employee relations and retention, performance management, and compliance. This position will work directly with the COO on talent strategies and growth initiatives, while ensuring a positive, compliant, and productive work environment for all employees.
Responsibilities, include but are not limited to:
- Craft strategic hiring strategies to source top level candidates.
- Interview, background screening and HRIS enrollment
- Oversee onboarding programs and employee orientation to ensure smooth integration into the firm.
- Manage employee evaluation processes, performance management, and succession planning initiatives.
- Payroll processing with time & attendance
- Benefit administration for health, wellness, and safe harbor 401(k) programs.
- Retention strategies through engagement, professional/personal development.
- Compliance with all federal and state laws affecting benefit plans, including FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act), STD, LTD, and ACA in support of employee well-being.
- Facilitate training & development sessions, conflict management resolutions, and employee relations activities to foster a positive workplace environment.
- Implementation and integration of HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) across multiple platforms.
- Maintain employee handbooks and legal compliance across multiple states..
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of professional experience in human capital management, human resources management, and workforce management.
- Knowledgeable managing a 50+ environment, across multiple states.
- Strong knowledge of employment law in talent management, labor law compliance, and HR legal standards.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
- Expertise in recruiting strategies that secure top level talent.
- Ability to manage benefits administration, payroll processing, personnel administration, and employee relations effectively.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and prioritize in a fast-paced, but detailed oriented environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal communication at various levels both inside and outside the firm.
- High degree of organizational skills.
- High degree of initiative and critical thinking.
- Demonstrates excellent problem solving resolution and follow-thru skills.
- SHRM certified a plus, but not required.
