Job Description:
Curry College seeks a passionate and strategic leader to serve as the inaugural Executive Director of the Labouré Center for Advancing Healthcare Opportunity at Curry College. Reporting to the Vice President of Institutional Advancement, the Executive Director will promote, and fundraise, coordinate internal services and develop partnerships for the Labouré nursing programs transitioning to Curry and for the Labouré Center at Curry's School of Nursing and Health Sciences. Through fundraising and partnership, the Executive Director will secure funding for scholarships, emergency funding, and enhanced programming. The ED will work with the Labouré and Curry extended community to promote and honor the Labouré legacy and the Center's mission to provide transformative nursing and healthcare education for adults and underserved populations called to care. The Executive Director shall serve on a working committee composed of the Vice President of Institutional Advancement, Vice President of Student Affairs, provost, and dean of nursing and health sciences to oversee the Labouré Center's work and ensure it is meeting its mission.
The mission of the Laboure´ Center for Advancing Healthcare Opportunity is to support the education of working adult learners in the School of Nursing and Health Sciences, with a specific focus on underserved and first-generation populations, to become exceptional healthcare professionals who represent the rich diversity of our communities. Through personalized support and innovative approaches to workforce education, the Labouré Center helps students access pathways to rewarding careers and economic independence. Graduates supported by the Labouré Center are prepared to deliver high-quality, equitable, and dignified care to all.
Essential Functions:
1. Fundraising and Partnership Development:
- Provide visionary leadership to promote and integrate the Labouré Center

Identify and pursue opportunities for growth and expansion into new markets and audiences

Collaborate with college leadership, faculty, and external partners to promote the Center's mission and goals

Establish and nurture partnerships with businesses, nonprofits, educational institutions, and community organizations.

Seek out and secure funding opportunities, including grants, donations, and corporate sponsorships.

Innovate and implement revenue-generating initiatives to support the financial sustainability of the Center and the College.
Additional Functions:
- Respect and maintain confidentiality, parameters of operation, professional protocols, and individual privacy.

Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or their designee.

Direct Laboure College experience is preferred and will be given preference in the selection and hiring processes.
Job Requirements:
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will have the following professional and personal qualities, skills, and characteristics:
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience with a strong focus on fundraising, business development, or alumni relations.

Demonstrated success in securing funding, including grants, donations, and corporate sponsorships.

Strong leadership and organizational skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with various stakeholders across Curry, in the grantmaking and business community, and across broader healthcare, academic and educational circles.

A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required; an advanced degree is preferred but not necessary if supplemented by extensive relevant experience.
Salary Range:
$125,000 to $130,000 annually
