We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs
- Prepare detailed estimates using automotive estimating software, including parts, labor, and additional services such as parts ordering and invoicing.
- Communicate effectively with customers about recommended repairs, costs, and timelines to facilitate informed decisions
- Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, brake repairs, shocks & struts, transmissions, suspension work to enhance vehicle performance and safety
- Coordinate with service technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of work
- Maintain accurate service writing records and update customer files regularly
- Handle cash and credit card transactions professionally while maintaining accurate handling procedures
- Utilize automotive diagnostics tools to identify issues accurately and recommend appropriate solutions
- Manage client communication throughout the repair process to keep customers informed and satisfied
- Responsible for a clean organized reception area, and assist when needed to keep the shop representable.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or in a similar auto service management role,
- Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in automotive diagnostics
- Experience using estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and professionally
- Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to upsell services effectively while maintaining integrity
- Background in auto service writing and familiarity with automotive repair procedures is essential
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and responsibly
- Mechanical experience or background as a service technician is a plus

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
