We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Commercial Dexter Laundry Equipment Technician to join our team! Responsibilities
- Perform troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on commercial laundry machines including washers, dryers, and related equipment.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to accurately diagnose issues.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to disassemble, repair, and reassemble equipment efficiently.
- Conduct electrical repairs and work with refrigeration systems when necessary to ensure proper operation.
- Install new equipment and assist with assembly or setup at customer sites.
- Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and documentation of repairs performed.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs, provide maintenance advice, and ensure satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience in appliance repair or field service roles involving commercial or industrial equipment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams.
- Experience with electrical systems and refrigeration is highly desirable.
- Prior service technician experience in appliance or equipment repair preferred.
- Customer service skills with a professional approach to client interactions.
- Delivery driver experience with a valid box truck license or experience operating similar vehicles preferred.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems or assembly of mechanical components is a plus.
- Ability to work independently in the field while managing multiple service calls efficiently.
