Job Overview

Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to verify cleanliness, sanitation, and safety compliance.
- Supervise and guide housekeeping staff, providing training on cleaning procedures, safety regulations, and customer service excellence.
- Manage daily cleaning schedules for industrial and commercial cleaning tasks, including janitorial duties and laundry operations.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used appropriately and maintained properly to maximize efficiency and safety.
- Enforce sanitation standards aligned with health regulations, ensuring all areas meet or exceed cleanliness benchmarks.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to address issues promptly and implement improvements.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, staff performance, safety incidents, and sanitation compliance for accountability and reporting purposes.
Experience
- Proven experience in custodial or janitorial roles within hospitality or commercial environments.
- Supervisory experience managing cleaning teams or housekeeping staff is essential.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation practices, and safety regulations related to industrial cleaning and hospitality services.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage team performance effectively.
- Excellent managerial communication skills to coordinate tasks clearly and motivate staff.
- Familiarity with management of laundry operations and sanitation management systems preferred.
- Prior experience in hospitality or facility management roles that involve team supervision and quality control is highly desirable.
