Agile Logistics which is a Delivery Service Partner of Amazon is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Senior Coordinator-Fleet Operations.
Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM, and some Saturdays and Sundays as needed. Please note that hours may vary and additional time may be required depending on business demands.
Basic Qualifications
-3+ years of coordination, administration, logistics or equivalent experience.
-Prior experience working with web-based databases or tracking systems to manage records and data.
Duties and Responsibilities
-Provide daily updates to leadership on fleet status, including a breakdown of vans in service, those under repair, and the total number ready and available for the following day’s operations.
-Coordinating vehicle maintenance and work with automotive repair shops, including scheduling, follow-ups, and cost control.
-Schedule and manage on-time preventative maintenance and all necessary repairs.
-Answer calls from Dispatchers and Drivers who are on road.
-Perform vehicle inspections each day before the routes to ensure they are in compliance with safety requirements.
-Maintain vehicle records such as preventative maintenance, registration, state inspection stickers, status, and updates on vans in repair, etc.
-Manage and inspect all vehicle tires daily.
-Communicate with all levels of leadership regarding all Fleet related matters.
-Perform other Fleet related matters as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Address mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Coordinate with mechanics and service centers for necessary repairs.
- Track repair costs and negotiate pricing with vendors.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle performance, maintenance schedules, and repairs.
- Use fleet management software to monitor vehicle health and performance metrics.
- Ensure all vehicles meet local, state, and federal regulations.
- Renew vehicle registrations, licenses, and permits as required.
- Address vehicle breakdowns or accidents promptly.
- Establish and maintain relationships with repair shops, parts suppliers, and fuel providers.
- Develop and enforce policies regarding vehicle use, maintenance, and reporting.
- Investigate vehicle accidents and manage insurance claims.
- Implement and manage fleet management software for maintenance tracking and optimization.
- Maintain detailed records of vehicle incidents, including repairs and claims.
- Collect and act on feedback from drivers regarding vehicle performance and comfort.
- Conduct regular audits to assess the overall health and performance of the fleet.
