Duties
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including medical history review, physical examinations, and diagnostic assessments related to rheumatologic conditions such as arthritis, lupus, gout, and vasculitis.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing medications, biologic therapies, and other modalities when appropriate.
- Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Epic and TEBRA platforms to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals across specialties including cardiology, dermatology, neurology, endocrinology, and orthopedics to ensure comprehensive patient management.
- Order and interpret diagnostic imaging studies such as X-rays, MRI, CT scans, and laboratory tests to inform diagnosis and treatment strategies.
- Participate in outpatient clinics, inpatient consultations, and telehealth services to expand access to expert rheumatologic care.
Skills
- Board certification or eligibility in Rheumatology with post-residency experience demonstrating proficiency in managing complex autoimmune diseases.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, immunology, and pharmacology relevant to rheumatologic conditions.
- Experience with EMR systems such as Epic or other healthcare IT platforms for efficient documentation and patient management.
- Excellent patient service skills with the ability to perform detailed physical examinations and assessments.
- Familiarity with diagnostic radiology techniques including X-ray interpretation for musculoskeletal conditions.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams across various specialties.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations ensuring patient confidentiality and data security compliance.

Pay: $260,000.00 - $310,000.00 per year
