The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of a medical office building to ensure a safe, clean, and fully functional environment for tenants and visitors. This role requires hands-on technical skills, problem-solving ability, and a strong commitment to customer service.Must be able to pass a background check.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Light
Maintenance Technician: to support day -to-day maintenance operations. this role involves performing basic repairs, preventative maintenance, and general upkeep to ensure facilities remain safe, clean and functional.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Perform general maintenance and repair of building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical components. Keep building, lobbies and restrooms, clean and stocked throughout the day.
- Conduct routine inspections of building equipment and systems to identify and address issues proactively.
- Respond promptly to tenant maintenance requests and service calls
- Perform minor carpentry, painting, drywall repair, and basic renovations as needed
- Replace light bulbs.
- Maintain and repair plumbing fixtures such as toilets, sinks, faucets, and drains.
Qualifications:
- Previous maintenance or handyman experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general repairs
- Ability to use hand and power tools safety
- Strong problem -solving skills
- Reliable transportation
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to (50)lbs
Work Environment:
- Indoor and outdoor work
- Standing, bending, lifting, and walking required
- Occasional evening/weekend work be required
