Occupational Therapist
Location: Yuma, AZ
Shift: Day Shift | 8 or 10-hour shifts
Hours: 40 hours guaranteed per week
Pay Rate: $49.40 – $74.09 per hour
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our healthcare team in Yuma, Arizona. The Occupational Therapist will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, provide skilled therapy services, and monitor patient progress.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients' functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide skilled occupational therapy services based on physician referrals.
- Establish measurable treatment goals and modify plans as needed.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Assist with discharge planning and patient care coordination.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to COTAs, therapy technicians, and students as appropriate.
- Meet departmental productivity and quality standards.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Current Occupational Therapist license in the state of practice.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based healthcare environment.
- Experience within the last 1 year preferred.
Additional Benefits
- $5,000 sign-on bonus with a 1-year commitment, or $10,000 with a 2-year commitment.
