IT Manager – Client Support
As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of Global Impact’s Clients,IT systems, networks, and applications. This role involves managing the deployment, maintenance, and improvement of technology systems that support business objectives, ensuring compliance with security standards.
We are seeking a candidate who demonstrates the ability to:
Manage all phases of new client onboarding, including kickoff and alignment, implementation and configuration, user training, and go-live execution.
Collaborate in the planning, design, and execution of IT initiatives and projects, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, and budget.
Oversee the IT helpdesk function, ensuring timely, efficient, and high-quality technical support for all employees.
Manage and support the lifecycle of both Windows and Mac hardware, including provisioning, configuration, maintenance, and decommissioning.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date IT documentation, including system configurations, processes, and procedures.
Qualifying for this role means you have a bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Systems/Network Engineering, or related field or equivalent combination of experience and education (multiple certifications in lieu of degree). Experience as IT Manager/IT Operations Manager/IT Project Manager and advanced knowledge and experience with cloud computing platforms (Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS). 5-7 years in the IT field with 2 years providing systems/network design & administration, focusing on Windows server architecture, network device configuration, and cloud services. Project Management, Microsoft and Cisco, or other industry certifications (CCNA, Security+, Azure Administrator, etc.)

Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States for more than one year. Visa sponsorship is not available. This is a full-time, hybrid position that requires 1-2 days or more in our Washington, DC HQ.

The salary range is $95,000 - $110,000. depending on the experience you have. On top of the competitive salary that we are offering, you’ll receive 16 paid holidays and 25 paid days off.
