Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state licensure or eligibility in Georgia
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Experience or strong interest in educational settings and serving K-12 populations
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Commitment to providing services exclusively onsite
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide treatment for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Design individualized and group therapy sessions tailored to each student’s needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary IEP teams to support student growth
- Develop and implement effective classroom-based strategies to facilitate functional communication
- Stay current with best practices in school-based speech therapy and special education
