5-Axis CNC Mill Machinist (Day Shift)Location: Tulsa, OK
Hours: Start times vary between 4:00 AM – 6:00 AM; End times vary between 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Overtime: As needed based on workload
Pay: $20-$25 DOE
Job Requirements-
High School Diploma or GED preferred (not required)

Ability to pass a drug screen and background check

Minimum of 2 years CNC machining experience required

Experience operating CNC machines in a heavy manufacturing environment

Previous Fanuc Controls experience highly preferred
-
Ability to create machine setups independently
-
Advanced blueprint reading and geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T) skills
-
Strong mechanical aptitude and precision mindset
-
Proficiency using precision measuring instruments including:
-
Calipers
-
ID & OD Micrometers
-
Depth Gages
-
Indicators
-
Scales
-
Knowledge of tool holders, cutting tools, boring bars, and inserts
-
Basic math skills including geometry and algebra
-
Forklift experience preferred
-
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
-
Reliable attendance and willingness to learn
-
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
-
Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, push, pull, and perform repetitive movements for up to 12 hours per day
Responsibilities-
Set up, operate, and inspect parts produced on CNC machining equipment, including CNC horizontal boring mills and 5-axis machining centers

Produce quality parts while maintaining close tolerances and maximum efficiency

Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, drawings, and work instructions
-
Determine machining sequences, setup requirements, dimensions, and tolerances
-
Measure and mark materials and workpieces as needed
-
Monitor machine performance and identify out-of-tolerance conditions
-
Make machine adjustments within operating capabilities to maintain quality standards
-
Report machine malfunctions and production concerns to supervision
-
Utilize precision measuring tools to verify part conformance
-
Assist with troubleshooting machining processes and continuous improvement initiatives
-
Operate forklifts and lifting devices to move materials and finished products
-
Collaborate with engineering, quality, production control, and shop personnel to resolve manufacturing issues
-
Perform basic preventative maintenance on equipment
-
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
-
Follow all company Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures
-
Perform additional duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications-
2–5 years of CNC machining experience in a heavy manufacturing environment

Previous experience with Fanuc Controls
-
Experience operating forklifts and material handling equipment
-
Strong problem-solving abilities and mechanical troubleshooting skill
-
Candidates should be prepared to discuss CNC setup experience, blueprint reading abilities, and machining knowledge
