Requirements – High Pressure Boiler Operating Engineer License and Certificate of Fitness for Supervision of Piped Non-Flammable Medical Gases (G-71)
Schedule – Flexible / 4 days a week
Job description: Performs preventive maintenance, routine repairs, inspections, testing and installation tasks on building, grounds, utilities, machinery and equipment. Performs tasks in other building crafts, including but not limited to plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and painting on an as needed basis.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or Vocational/Technical School graduate.
Experience: Minimum 3 years in building maintenance.
Equipment/Computer Software: General knowledge of hand tools, power tools and basic mechanics.
Skills and Abilities:
Good communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.
Working knowledge of general mechanics and basic electricity.
Read and interpret blue prints, schematics and manufacturers specifications.
Responsibilities:
Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
Prepares and sets up machinery for scheduled production runs
Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machines.
Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
Comply with OSHA safety and health rules.
