Job Description: As a Lawn Care Foreman at MowCo., you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and enhancement of our clients' lawns. You will lead a team of lawn care specialists, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include supervising lawn maintenance tasks, managing team members, and coordinating with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily lawn maintenance activities such as mowing, edging, and trimming.
- Prune trees and shrubs to maintain their health and appearance.
- Train, mentor, and manage a team of lawn care specialists.
- Operate and ensure the proper maintenance of lawn care equipment.
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide recommendations for improving lawn health and appearance.
- Schedule and delegate tasks to team members efficiently.
- Keep accurate records of services provided, materials used, and team performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in lawn care or landscaping, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of lawn care techniques and equipment.
- Ability to operate and maintain lawn care equipment such as mowers, edgers, trimmers, and blowers.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Effective communication skills with clients and team members.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials (up to 50 pounds).
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
