Job Summary

Duties
- Handle and transport materials using various equipment such as pallet jacks, and RF scanners to load, unload, and move inventory efficiently.
- Perform rework tasks on products or components as required, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Assist in order picking processes using SAP and other warehouse management systems to fulfill shipping orders accurately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and updates within the warehouse management system.
- Ensure all materials are stored safely following OSHA guidelines and safety protocols to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Support shipping & receiving operations by preparing items for shipment and verifying incoming deliveries against purchase orders.
- Operate heavy equipment safely while adhering to mechanical knowledge requirements and safety standards.
- Conduct manual handling of materials with proper lifting techniques for heavy lifting tasks, minimizing injury risk.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient warehouse operations and timely completion of tasks.
Experience
- Prior experience working in a warehouse distribution environment or similar setting is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, cranes, and load & unload machinery.
- Experience with inventory management systems and order picking technologies like RF scanners or SAP is advantageous.
- Knowledge of safety protocols aligned with OSHA standards and experience in heavy equipment operation is essential.
- Construction or mechanical background can be beneficial for understanding equipment maintenance or troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated manual handling skills with the ability to perform heavy lifting safely over extended periods.
- Previous supervisory experience in warehouse operations or logistics is a plus but not required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Move materials, components, and finished products throughout the rework area.
- Supply production lines with required materials and remove completed products.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and report discrepancies.
- Organize and stage materials according to production schedules.
- Perform material transactions using scanners, inventory systems, or production paperwork.
- Assist with sorting, inspecting, reworking, packaging, and labeling products as needed.
- Ensure all materials are properly identified and stored in designated locations.
- Follow customer specifications, work instructions, and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S principles.
- Comply with all company safety policies and procedures.
- Support other warehouse and production functions as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous material handling, warehouse, manufacturing, or production experience preferred.
- Experience working in a rework, quality, or assembly environment is a plus.
- Basic math and inventory tracking skills.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive tasks.
