Job Duty Descriptions

Kitchen workers: Must be able to prep food. Weigh and measure ingredients. Go after pots and pans and stir and strain soups and sauces. Must also clean, peel, and slice vegetables and make salads. Must be able to cut meats and poultry in preparation for cooking. Must be able to work closely with other wait staff and the kitchen to ensure the restaurant is operated efficiently. Must have an ability to provide good customer service and maintain a neat appearance. Workers usually must withstand the pressure and strain of working in close quarters, standing for hours at a time, lifting heavy pots and kettles, and working near hot ovens and stoves. Job hazards include slips and falls, cuts, and burns. Duties also include the cleaning and sweeping of floors in kitchen area. Must be able to manage time efficiently and must have experience in multitasking. Duties may also include the opening and closing of business doors as well as the restocking of supplies and condiments.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $30.00 per hour
