Duties
- Prepare fresh sandwiches and food items according to company standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Manage customer orders with professionalism, upselling menu items to enhance the guest experience.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace by following food safety protocols, including proper handling of ingredients and kitchen equipment.
- Handle cash register operations, process cash and card payments, and balance cash drawers at shift end.
- Provide friendly customer service by greeting guests, answering questions about menu options, and addressing concerns promptly.
- Assist with food safety management tasks like sanitation, bussing tables, and ensuring compliance with health standards.
Experience
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred.
- Strong background in food preparation, food handling, and kitchen operations.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for retail sales transactions.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
- Excellent customer service skills with an energetic attitude that engages guests positively.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, order processing, and inventory management.
- Experience operating kitchen equipment safely and adhering to sanitation standards is a plus.
