Duties
Must Be 21 Years Old
- Greet guests warmly and guide them through the menu, offering personalized recommendations on food and beverages.
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently to process orders, payments, and refunds accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in all areas of serving and bar service, adhering to food handling regulations.
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously with excellent time management to ensure prompt service.
- Develop beverage recipes and suggest pairings to enhance the guest experience while promoting sales.
- Handle cashing out guests accurately using POS systems while maintaining a friendly, professional demeanor throughout the shift.
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is required, with a preference for fine dining or upscale hospitality environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of beverage recipes, cocktail mixing techniques, wine varieties, and craft beer styles.
- Experience in beverage recipe development and wine knowledge to recommend pairings confidently.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and handle diverse situations professionally.
- Proven ability to manage time effectively during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with food safety practices, basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations, and food industry standards is essential.
