Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Field Safety Representative to champion safety and compliance across construction sites. In this vital role, you will serve as the frontline advocate for occupational health and safety, ensuring that all activities adhere to industry standards, government regulations, and company policies. Your energetic approach will foster a culture of safety awareness, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement, empowering teams to work confidently and securely on every project.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive safety inspections on construction sites to identify hazards and ensure compliance with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards and other relevant regulations.
- Implement and monitor safety protocols aligned with Workers' Compensation policies, and EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) best practices.
- Collaborate with construction management teams to integrate risk management strategies into daily operations, reducing potential incidents.
- Maintain detailed records of safety inspections, incident reports, corrective actions, and compliance documentation using construction management software.
- Investigate accidents or near-misses thoroughly to determine root causes and recommend preventative measures.
- Stay current with industry trends, legal updates, and advancements in construction safety technology to continually enhance site safety programs.
- Oversee daily job operations at clients sites and varies projects
- Work closely with ES&H Manager communicating daily
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction site safety management or a related field with a strong understanding of OSHA regulations and OSHA compliance management.
- Demonstrated knowledge of risk management principles, occupational health standards, NEC codes, and workers’ compensation procedures.
- Hands-on experience with construction management software and safety tracking tools.
- Construction management experience that includes site supervision or oversight roles.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively train teams and report findings clearly.
- Ability to perform physical inspections in various weather conditions while maintaining attention to detail.
